Abstract: This study ascertained the extent entrepreneurial orientation influences the innovation and creativity of business education students in universities in South-East, Nigeria. The design of the study was descriptive survey. The population of 1619 business education students was used for the study using census survey sampling. Two research questions guided the study and two null hypotheses were tested. A structured questionnaire containing 20 items was used for data collection. Cronbach Alpha was used to compute data collected and reliability coefficient of 0.91 and 0.87 for the two clusters (B1 to B2) with an overall coefficient of 0.89 were obtained. 1617 copies of the questionnaire were retrieved and used for data analysis. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions and to determine the homogeneity of the respondents’ ratings while the z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that entrepreneurial orientation influences business education students’ towards becoming innovative and creative. It also revealed that male and female business education students’ in universities in South-East, Nigeria did not differ significantly in their mean ratings on the extent entrepreneurial orientation influences them towards becoming innovative and creative. Based on the findings, the researchers concluded that business education students’ in universities in South-East, Nigeria would benefit from effectively delivered entrepreneurial orientation as it would improve their innovative and creative skills. However, the researcher recommended among others that, universities should device a means to assist business education students’ that indicated interest in being self-reliant and self-employed while in school and after graduation through incubator programme.

Abstract: Interpersonal difficulties characterize schizophrenic patients at all stages of their illness. These difficulties involve difficulties related to controlling and manipulating others, difficulties that are related to suspicion and distrust of others, and an inability to experience empathy for the needs of others, difficulties expressing affection and love toward others, difficulties maintaining long-term relationships, and trouble forgiving others, difficulties initiating social interactions, feeling anxious interacting with others, and having problems expressing emotions with others, difficulties being assertive with others and difficulties taking on roles of authority. Assessing the interpersonal difficulties among schizophrenic patients was carried out at EL-Abbasyia Hospital of Mental Health in the middle area of Cairo Governorate (Egypt) within a convenient sample of 34 hospitalized patients with schizophrenia.

Abstract: Teachers’ satisfaction level in education is key to service delivery. The focus of this study was to assess the satisfaction level of the working environment among teachers on students’ academic achievement in public secondary schools in Kakamega County. Education Production Function Theory (EPFT), Theory of Constraint (TOC) and Social Exchange Theory (SET) were found to be relevant for the study. The target population was 268 public secondary Schools, 1500 teachers, 268 principals and one (1) County staffing officer. The sample size of 30% of the population was deemed to be adequate for the study. The sampling techniques used were; simple random sampling, stratified sampling and systematic sampling. Data collection procedures were done with the help of administering questionnaires to respondents, document analysis and interview schedules were the major principal instruments used. Validity of research instruments was done with the help of two university research supervisors from Kisii University. Reliability of index 0.7 for teachers and 0.89 for principals was obtained using test retest approach. Data presentation was done with the help of tables, graphs and pie charts. Mixed research method was used. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was used for data analysis.  Findings showed that all teacher respondents (100%) were in agreement that   teachers’ working environment was critical in determining the level of effort put in by the teachers in their duties.. It was concluded that majority of teachers (over 79%) were satisfied with the working environment. The study recommended that since majority of teachers were satisfied with the working environment, there was a with need to ensure that teacher stability is not interfered through uncalled for transfers as such move are likely to interfere with their level of commitment of teachers towards students’ academic achievement. The study was undertaken by ensuring that ethical considerations for research were put in perspective such as informed consent of participants and non-usage of unethical language as a means to obtain data from respondents.

Abstract: The Madrasah or Islamic education system in the Philippines provides the standard curriculum for elementary public schools and private Madaris. It aims to provide Muslim learners with appropriate and relevant educational opportunities while recognizing their cultural context and unique purposes for participating in the program offerings; and integrate content and competencies are relevant and of interest to Muslim learners (DO 41, s. 2017). The primal purpose of which is the preservation of the Islamic faith and culture in the Philippines. (Faisal, 2004 in Alag, 2013). Abstract:  This study determined the challenges that will be encountered by the public elementary school teachers in enhancing the child friendly school-health environment, during face-to-face classes. The descriptive research method was used. The subjects of the study were the public elementary school teachers in Isabela City Island District 1. A questionnaire was the instrument used in this study. The findings of the study were: 1. The teachers considered the ‘challenges that will be encountered by the public elementary school teachers in enhancing the child friendly school-health environment in Island District 1, during face-to-face classes, as ‘Great’ challenges. 2. Abstract: The researcher wanted to identify the retention to the program implementation level in the sports based on the DepEd Order no. 25 s. 2015 in GSCHNS, and the data would be the basis for making the intervention program. The researcher utilized the quantitative research method more specifically, the quantitative evaluative design. The collected data were based on the result given by all student-athletes of GSCNHS on the survey questionnaire as a tool where the questionnaire was based on DepEd Order N. 25 S. 2015. The data were analyzed and interpreted using an appropriate statistical tool which was a weighted mean.  Based on the result, the retention to the program implementation level in sports was high. Despite the result, still the proponent formulated an intervention program to sustain or improve the retention of the respondents in the chosen program.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the online classroom observations of the teachers utilizing the classroom observation tool. The study employed descriptive-evaluative research design. The researcher chose forty-five teachers of H. N Cahilsot Elementary School, Romana C. Acharon Central Elementary School and General Santos City SPED Center as the respondents of the study. The data were gathered using a validated evaluation tool or questionnaire. The findings revealed that teachers are at high level in terms of applying knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching areas; planning and delivering teaching strategies that are responsive to the special education needs of learners in difficult circumstances including: geographic isolation, chronic illness, displacement due to armed conflict, urban resettlement or disasters, child abuse and child labor practices, and at high level also in terms of  selecting, developing, organizing and using appropriate teaching and learning resources including ICT to address learning goals. Overall, the teachers are at high level in the online classroom observations. Based on the results of the study, an intervention program was designed to help teachers further improve their teaching pedagogies.

Abstract: The Government of Indonesia's efforts to improve the quality of teachers are carried out by issuing Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. In ensuring the importance of the teacher's role in realizing the state's educational goals, efforts such as improving the role of teachers to become better professionals are needed both at the national and international levels. Correlation of the needs analysis construct with its indicators has a higher value than the correlation of indicators of skills, knowledge and changes in behavior. Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic brought changes to the scenario of teaching and learning in institutions of education. The shift from face-to-face traditional mode to online platforms brought many challenges along with it. This ‘new norm’ of pedagogy also posed challenges to learners with disabilities in learning institutions across Kenya especially when using online platforms to study. This study presents preliminary results obtained from the  study conducted in selected Counties to map out the learning experiences of learners with disabilities during the learn-from- home time related to the COVID-19 lock down in Kenya. The objective of the study was to gather information about the situation in the community, how children continued with their learning, and what challenges there. The study was conducted in selected Counties to learners, teachers and parents that were purposively selected for this exercise. Qualitative data collection methods were used by the researcher to collect primary data. The researcher’s aim was to use the data collected to examine the consistencies, contradictions, milestones, achievements among other important issues relevant to the effects of COVID- 19 in education. Semi-structured interviews were employed to interview the participants and the collected data was analysed qualitatively using the self-determination theory. The findings showed that most of the learners with disabilities students faced mental stress challenges as they were leveraging in  poverty and hunger due to low economies  as a result of  lack of sells hence affecting learning at home, sexual harassment for learners with disabilities  and no learning was going on due to lack of electricity and lack of gadgets to enable e-learning, lack of materials, lacked of parental responsibility, they were idling and roaming around at home, anxiety was affecting especially class eight candidates and that both parents and learners had different  attitudes towards learning.  The findings further revealed that learners with disabilities were not ignorant in their learning and their disabilities were not obstacles to excel in education.

Abstract: The overall objective of this study was to determine the relationship between project manager’s leadership style, teamwork, project characteristics and their impact on project performance in water sector projects in Nigeria. To achieve the objective, hypothesis were formulated namely there is no significant relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project performance; there is no significant relationship between project manager’s leadership style and teamwork; there is no significant relationship between teamwork and project performance; the relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project performance is not intervened by teamwork; the relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project performance is not moderated by project characteristics; and the joint effect of project manager’s leadership style, project characteristics and teamwork on project performance is not significant. Through the use of positivist research paradigm and descriptive cross-sectional research design, primary data was collected from project managers and project team members involved in water projects in the country while secondary data was collected from project files. Project performance was evaluated in terms of Time Performance Index (TPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI). The study findings are that there is statistically significant relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project time performance; there is a statistically significant positive relationship between project manager’s leadership style and teamwork; there is a statistically significant relationship between teamwork and project time performance; the relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project time performance is mediated by teamwork; and moderated by project complexity; and there is a statistically significant combined effect on the relationship between project manager’s leadership style, teamwork, project characteristics and project time performance. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between project manager’s leadership style and project cost performance. Although the study findings confirm existence of a statistically significant relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project time performance, the findings indicate that the relationship was not direct as it was mediated by teamwork. In addition, the study has shown the moderating role of project characteristics in the relationship between project manager’s leadership style and project time performance. The study findings have also identified the importance of transformational leadership style and teamwork in enhancing performance of water projects in Nigeria. This implies that clients should consider leadership style and team building capabilities of project managers before allocating them projects. Further, with leadership being critical, there is need for curricular review as a way of ensuring that graduates have the right mix of technical and leadership skills necessary for successful project execution.
