Abstract:  Internet of Things has become a part of normal life. An major issue in running this IoT devices is its energy cost. One of the energy saving way is to co-locate several services on one device in order to reduce the computing and communication energy. A single starting node (eg. Switch) is connected to a multiple destination nodes (eg. Home appliances). These multiple nodes are connected not only to the starting node but also it is connected among themselves.
The packets are transferred among these nodes. Since the packet is emerged from the starting node it travels through all the nodes which are connected to the starting node. For example, if the different home appliances are connected to the single switch when the switch is on all the appliance tend to work. This produce a high energy cost. To reduce this, The problem is formulated as a quadratic programming. And this is solved using the integer programming.

Abstract: Cloud computing is future of data storage. In case of such storage, data is outsourced to third-party and user no longer has physical possession of it. This reduces the maintenance and securing work demanding in case of locally stored data. Such systems are expected to work as if data is stored locally without worrying about to verify the reliability of data. Therefore, public auditability of data is important so that the user can route to third party for integrity checking and be tension free. Such auditing system is expected to introduce no new vulnerability to the users’ data privacy and should not add any extra network burden. In this project, we explore ring signature to compute the verification information need to verify reliability of that shared data. In the mechanism introduced in this project, the uniqueness of signer in each block is kept remote from third party auditor, who can still verify the integrity of publicly shared data without retrieving the entire file.

Abstract: Web services have moved outsourced to a multi-level design, in which the Web server, the input logic and back-end applications and performance data are on a database server or file. About a year last web services and applications server to attack the attacker had increased. In this paper we present a double guard, an IDS system that models the behaviour of network user sessions in the two Web server front-end and back-end database data. By controlling both web and database subsequent data requests, we are able to discover attacks that an independent IDS would not be able to identify. By using the allocation request and consult IDS security system for web servers and databases can provide. We implement double guard with an Apache web server with MySQL and easy to virtualization. Moreover, in the environment of cloud computing it is performed using the communication processing large files and therefore it is very important and important to provide efficient data security and file processing approach. Deduplication is a technique to remove copies of the data and are widely used in cloud storage to reduce storage space and bandwidth load. Convergent encryption widely adopted for safe de-duplication; a critical point of convergence Encryption is managing a large number of convergent key. Initially where each user maintains a baseline approach, an independent master key to encrypt the convergent and outsourcing to the cloud key. However, as a key management system reference creates an enormous number of keys with the growing number of users and requires that users spend protect the master key, which is an unreliable inefficient. To this end, we propose dekey, a new building in which users do not have to manage all the keys on their own, but certainly on multiple servers to distribute the key elements converged. Dekey is implemented using the RSA algorithm.

Abstract: In the world of software development the statement applies “Even a little prevention is better than spending a large in cure”.  Software is developed by the programmers. As human being a programmer be major cause of defects in software along with many other type of defects caused by lack of domain knowledge, poor requirements analysis, design flaws etc. which can lead to the failure of a software project. Due to lack of meeting the standards and quality most software projects fail to achieve desired level due to which many defects in requirement gathering, design and coding phase introduced.  One of the important reasons of this trouble is be deficient in following appropriate defect prevention arrangements during the development stages of software design process.  Having direct influence on software quality defect prevention is a systematic critical segment which if ignored may lead to the poor quality product becoming the cause for project failure. Defects in software can involve the both financial cost in detection then removal and time. So defect prevention is preferred then defect detection after which fixing is needed. The cost spent on activity of discovering and fixing the software bugs is the most expensive among the activities of software development.  Moreover, the software project is at high jeopardy in cost and time domains if software defects transferred in final approval testing step of project development life cycle. A reasonable cost can be saved for discovering and eliminating defects by putting a little effort on quality assurance activities to get defect free high quality software product. It is necessary to study, observe and scrutinize the details of detected errors and defects to get in depth understanding of success of software process. Due to newer methodologies and process improvements how defects can be eliminated is studied. Due to lack of meeting the standards and quality most software projects fail to achieve desired level due to which many defects in requirement gathering, design and coding phase introduced.  These defects unavoidable delay the development operations of software in smooth fashion. One of the important reasons of this trouble is be deficient in following appropriate defect prevention arrangements during the development stages of software design process.  Having direct influence on software quality defect prevention is a systematic critical segment which if ignored may lead to the poor quality product becoming the cause for project failure. The critical analysis of existing defect prevention strategies and trends used by them for defect identification is the scope of this paper.

Abstract: The capabilities and high internet data rate on mobile devices increased remarkable due to which it becomes popular to access multimedia learning resources online on mobile devices. As mobile devices get power from a battery source which is limited in capacity so it is a serious issue and challenge needed to be resolved to enhance the mobile learning duration and increase the user experience. The multimedia learning is limited on mobile devices as high quality multimedia is greedy in power hungry and depletes the battery rapidly. How to enhance the battery life by inventing the techniques to save battery power has great interests by the researchers due to low progress in battery capacities improvements. The existing power saving techniques reduces the quality of multimedia resources to enlarge the battery capacity which may liable to loss of information that is harmful to learning process by affecting the content learning efficiency. The already work one in learning efficiency of multimedia content adaption process needed to more improvements to increase the efficiency of multimedia content learning. The adaptive multimedia techniques suggested by researchers reduce the quality of multimedia resources on the move to improve the battery life efficiency. Existing multimedia adaptive techniques gain energy efficiency at the cost of reduced quality and information loss. Mobile learner may lose interest in accessing online educational multimedia content learning due to low quality contents and frequent lose of information. This may also result in overall reduction of battery power of mobile devices. An adaptation approach for long duration especially education multimedia also focusing on learning aspect for enhancing the battery life by saving power is proposed. The proposed approach manages the delivery of multimedia content on move at a reasonable quality to keep learning resource effective and also enhance the battery life. To address the challenge of limited battery life, this paper suggests increasing the efficiency of long duration multimedia content leering on mobile devices by saving battery power.  

Abstract: The examination of packet flow in network application using port number and payload-based identification is important area of network surveillance and management.  Machine learning is alternative approach to identify network applications using payload independent features inter-arrival time and packet length. The decision trees like Bayesian Network, Naïve bayes, C4.5 Naïve Bayes Tree algorithm used to demonstrate the impact on performance of reduction of feature set. The computational performance based on algorithms for traffic classification differs from classifying accuracy alone. In wireless and wired heterogeneous networks TCP is inadequate and react to losses due to link failure and congestion in same way.  To distinguish packet loss causes, proposing a TCP imparting with a classifier  to improve its performance in wireless and wired networks since not able to control error’s and congestion in TCP while congestion control ignore the packet losses due to link error and initiate method to recover packets only losses due to congestion. Pre-classified packet losses gathered in a database used for classification algorithm using supervised learning to classify losses.  Through of TCP with this classifier improves in both wired and wireless networks. This algorithm was introduced for the integration of OLSR and delay prediction. Since we use Neural network with OSLR (OSLR_NN) that can reduces delay in heavy traffic and improve the data packet delivery ratio. Our work shows the role of neural network in delay prediction.

Abstract: Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is known as an essential factor of smart Transportation systems. The key benefit of VANET communication is noticed in dynamic protection systems, which objective to enhance security of travellers by exchanging caution messages between automobiles. Other applications and personal services are also allowed in order to lower the cost and to promote VANET exploitation. To effectively set up VANET, security is one of the main challenges that must be tackled. Another important concern is scalability is a serious issue for a network designer how to maintain stable communication and services in VANET. Extremely dynamic environment of VANETs seems it difficult.
Every one spends 10 to 40% time in vehicles a day that’s why it is necessary to be updated with knowledge in vehicle. Vehicle ad hoc network (VANET) is a technology that establishes communication among vehicles through road side infrastructure. We have proposed an automated faith management scheme for VANETs that uses machine learning to categorize nodes as malicious. Clustering is one solution for the scalability problem.  Here we also proposed an stable vehicular clustering based on weighted clustering algorithm (SVWCA) cluster maintained scheme which can handle the stability of the vehicular network.

Abstract: Computer crime is the use of information technology in any suspicious criminal activities. Recently, our life becomes increasingly depending on modern information technology; however, it becomes very important to improve the computer crime investigation procedure especially in cases of processing very important and sensitive information such as government and military intelligence, banking information or personal private information. Cybercrime investigation helps detecting unauthorized access to any digital source information with the intent of modifying, destroying or stealing that digital data or information. Such suspicious actions can cause financial damages or important information loss; moreover, it might distribute or destroy high secret and private or confidential information. Therefore, this paper focuses mainly on highlighting the main challenges of the Indian States (Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi and Hyderabad) in computer crime investigation system by taking a look at the recent developments in the continent’s Internet infrastructure and the need of information security laws in these particular countries.

Abstract: Today the appearance of mobility has changed the nature of the systems distributed on a large scale; many additional services had to be developed for the mobile networks in order to offer a total mobility to the users. The “mobility” phenomenon  introduced new requirements in security in comparison with the traditional fixed networks indeed the lack of  physical protection of the access points and the transmission on the way are the main causes of the vulnerability of the mobile networks, but also the effective lack of tool for management of the mobile processes and the improvement contained as of its processes impact in a direct way the future of mobile development and the  customer experiment in opposite to  the quality, durability and also the portability of the mobile processes.
