Abstract: The design of earthquake resistant Building is Becoming necessity in view of recurring Earthquake activity. The force induced in structure of highly compredictable. It is accepeted that the complete protection against earthquake of all size is economically infeasible. The basic logic in to provide adequate lateral strength and enhance ductility capacity of building to building to result in limited damage without collapse .A case study of performance of multi-story framed structure with time history approach is presented. Wind which has the potential benefits of further refinement in deriving design wind loading and its effects on tall buildings, is also emphasized.
Keywords: Shear Displacement, Base Shear, Story Drift, Beam, Coloumn, Slab, Time history.
